Litchfield National Park

Litchfield National Park was great, but Kakadu simply took my breath away. Mike shared the same opinion. Despite beautiful waterfalls and swimming rock holes, the WOW factor didn’t match the one in Kakadu. On top of that, the large crow was simply too much for us, mainly English and Irish idiots getting drunk and disturbing families and others wanting to have some quiet time. Continue reading

Undura National Park and its lava tubes

Undara National park, volcanic region hosting a unique feature; the lava tubes stretching up to 100kms supporting wildlife and a unique eco-system. A short side trip from the Savannah Way in Northern Queesnland, it’s the only place in the world such phenomenon of this scale can be seen. A definite must-see. Continue reading
