Hey Frank! Ouin, je suis un peu pesant… mais je prefere avoir ma SLR et mon laptop. Mon laptop est 13.1″ et super leger. Et je peu utiliser n’importe quand plutot que d’utiliser un ordi de merde… En plus, une tablette ne peu pas editer mes photo! 😉

Great Blog. We were travelling the Gibb the time you were there and possibly passed you (cautiously) in a 4WD with small off-road “wobbly”, sorry we did not meet. We did meet Norwegian Peter several times around Mt Barnett Roadhouse and enjoyed your blog on travelling together.

Le francais est toujours visible ici, je vois souuvent des signes / enseignes / gravures en francais. Le style in Australia, y’as rien a comprendre. P-e le graphique. Ca m’as fait sourier. 🙂

Je me permets de t’aborder directement en Français, quelque chose me dit que cette langue est aussi un peu la tienne ! Mon anglais est plus laborieux, ce sera plus efficace ainsi.
Voilà, j’ai le projet de traverser la Chine à vélo en provenance du Laos tout comme toi, avec un itinéraire davantage à l’ouest. C’est à dire le Yunnan et le Sichuan dans les coins frontaliers avec le Tibet, pour parcourir ensuite le Qinghai central et rejoindre Lanzhou. Le gros problème reste bien sûr la question du visa et ses prolongations successives. Là dessus ton blog est super parce que super précis ! Mais j’aimerais savoir combien de fois peut on renouveler/prolonger le visa de 30 jours ? Il semblerait dans ton cas que la deuxième demande à Lanzhou soit passée mais de justesse ! Ce serait donc 2 renouvellements avec de la chance, soit 90 jours maximum ? Mais tu sembles évoquer ton intention à l’époque de poursuivre ton périple dans le Xinjiang vers Kashgar, ce qui représente encore une immense distance, laquelle devrait en toute logique nécessiter une troisième extension quelque part !!! Qu’en est il exactement ?
Personnellement je ne compte pas aller vers le Xinjiang mais rejoindre par la suite Beijing et attraper le Transmogolien, direction Ulan Bator. (Lanzhou – Beijing = 1500kms, le terrain étant nettement plus favorable sur cette section, je peux raisonnablement prévoir de la réaliser en à peu près 15 jours et me laisser de justesse le temps à Beijing pour l’obtention du visa mongol – espérons que quelques jours leur suffisent sinon…!).
Bref, désolé de m’étendre, je voulais savoir si tu avais connaissance des principaux PSB dans ces régions du Yunnan, Sichuan, Qinghai ? Leshan que tu cites n’est pas vraiment sur mon parcours. Il y aurait Kangding d’après un autre cyclo mais cela reste dans le secteur de Chengdu ! Il semblerait qu’un PSB soit à Dali, mais ça me semble trop tôt pour faire une extension (Dali est à seulement 560kms du Laos). Dans le cas où ils ne me cumuleraient pas les jours restants du premier visa, je serais dans l’impossibilité de rejoindre Lanzhou en seulement 30 jours (~2800kms, là où on ne peut pas prévoir plus de 50kms/jour !).
Sinon, que recommandes tu pour la rédaction factice de l’itinéraire au PSB ? Il faut préciser un lieu pour chaque journée passée ? Je suis très étonné que tu aies signalé le Xinjiang et qu’ils t’aient accordé le visa sans broncher ! Tout le monde semble dire que c’est une région tabou aux yeux des autorités.

Merci pour tes bons commentaires, j’apprecie! C’est possible de renouvler 2 fois seulement. Chaque extension donne 1 mois, donc au final ca fait 3 mois. Je n’ai jamais entendu d’une 3ieme extension, mais c’est peut-etre possible par contre je ne conterais pas la-dessus.
Pour ce qui est des PSB dans l’ouest des regions que t’as indique, je ne sais pas. Leshan reste un des meilleurs endroits pour obtenir une extension. Garde en tete qu’au moment d’appliquer pour une extension il doit te rester 7 jours sur ton visa actuel, mais certain PSB exige jusqu’a 10 jours de validiter.
Au moment d’appliquer pour ton extension, les agents te demande de siter le plus de details possible sur ton ititneraire mais c’est seulement pour s’assurer que tu ne prevois pas aller aux endroits interdit aux tourists ou bien au Tibet ou il te faut un autre permis et un guide.
Voila! J’espere que les infos vont d’aider! Bon voyage et surtout profite bien de la Chine! H’hesite surtout pas a me contacter si t’as d’autres questions.
